Guess the Size is a free browser game. There are no accounts, and the game never asks for your name, email or other personal details. This page explains what data is collected when you visit and how you can control it.

Your progress stays in your browser

Scores, daily results, streaks and settings (units and sound) are saved in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are not uploaded to a server. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes them.

Services we use

We use or may use the following services. Some of them will be switched on shortly, so they are listed here in advance.

Cloudflare: hosting and Web Analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate visit statistics, such as page views, referring sites, countries and page speed. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 shows us how the game is used, for example how many players finish the daily puzzle or come back the next day. It uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, game events (like the mode played and the score), device type and approximate location. We never send it personal details such as names or email addresses.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity gives us heatmaps and session replays (where people click, tap and scroll) so we can see where players get stuck and improve the game. It uses cookies. The game never asks you to type personal information, so the replays don't contain any. Microsoft may also use this data for security, fraud prevention and advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Google AdSense

Google AdSense shows ads on this site, and the ads may be personalized. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.

You can turn off personalized ads in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other vendors' personalized ads at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses this data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Google Fonts

Headings use the Fredoka font from Google Fonts. To load it, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Cookies and your consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your permission before any cookies are used for analytics or ads. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy and cookie settings” link that Google's consent tool shows on the page. In other regions, these services may use cookies without asking first. You can always block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
