FAQ

Is Guess the Size free?

Yes. It's free to play in your browser, with no sign-up and nothing to download.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. It works on phones and tablets: drag the slider or pinch with two fingers to resize.

Is this the Roblox game “Guess The Real Size!”?

No. Guess the Size is an independent browser game built around the same idea of stretching objects to their real size. It is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or the creators of that experience.

How is the score calculated?

Each object is worth up to 100 points. A guess within 6% of the real size scores 100. The further off you are, the fewer points you get: half or double the real size scores about 45, and 5× off scores about 1.

Can I use metric or imperial units?

Both. Switch between m and ft in the game. Browsers set to US English start in feet.

When does the daily puzzle change?

At midnight in your local time zone. Everyone gets the same 5 objects on the same date.

Where do the sizes come from?

From typical values in encyclopedias and official sources such as NASA and the US National Park Service. Real things vary, so the game uses rounded, typical sizes.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, but only in this browser. Your scores, daily results and settings are saved on your device, not on a server, so clearing the site's data resets them.
